k1Once upon a time Finland was a Roman Catholic country and the bishops had their castle in Kuusisto – near Turku. There near big cathedral of Turku they used their power over population of Finland.

20151024_163825When Swedish king Gustav Wasa took crown of Sweden by force he needed money. He found it in Catholic church and he took their treasures. This also meant that Sweden and Finland became protestant religion. Therefore also stronghold of Catholic church of Finland was destroyed, because Wasa had fear that the castle could fall into hostile hands.
